Platform that aims to link Asia's tech ecosystem together raises seed funding

BEAM, a business connectivity platform that aims to link up every participant — journalists, investors and entrepreneurs — in Asia’s tech ecosystem, has raised a six-digit seed funding from TinkBig Venture.

The Singapore- and Malaysia-based startup plans to use the newly-raised capital to increase its presence in Southeast Asia — namely Singapore and Malaysia.

It plans to introduce professional services to help startups and entrepreneurs connect and grow their business. It is also working with more equity crowdfunding platforms and angel investors to help them get more value out of their investments.

“BEAM aims to drive as much value as we can to bring their businesses to the next level, at scale,” said Kenneth Ho, Founder of BEAM, in a press release.
